Founded in 2009, Families Reaching Out Group (FROG), a Winchester, Virginia based nonprofit is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children who have been victims of abuse, neglect or are at-risk. One of our goals is to help these children adjust to their new living situation, and let them know that there are people out there who care about them.

Through local donations in this past year our organization was able to have holiday parties, send children to summer camp and give gifts to children who otherwise may not have received them. In addition, we have provided accessibility to basic needs such as vouchers for haircuts and book bags for school through Froggy's Closet

Froggy's Float Wins Three Awards!

Jason Lapp

Froggy's Closet participated in the 90th Shenandoah Apple Blossom Festival Grand Feature Parade with a float themed "It's Raining Frogs: Children Bloom with FROG's Help." We are very excited to announce that we won three awards: The 1st Place Overall Sweepstakes Award, the Apple Blossom Theme Award, and 1st place in the Communities Participation/Nonprofessionally Built category. Thanks to Anne Utz for coordinating this, to Richard Kibler for creating and donating the float, and volunteer Tamara Haack and FROG board member Jason Lapp for helping to make this happen on parade day.
