Founded in 2009, Families Reaching Out Group (FROG), a Winchester, Virginia based nonprofit is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children who have been victims of abuse, neglect or are at-risk. We aim to help these children adjust to their new living situation, and let them know that there are people out there who care about them. We serve children and families in Winchester, Frederick county, Clark county, Shenandoah county and Warren county.
We provide accessibility to basic needs such as clothing, shoes, diapers, car seats, vouchers for haircuts and book bags for school (and much more) through Froggy's Closet. Through local donations our organization is able to send children to summer camp and other enrichment activities, and provide birthday parties and other celebrations for children who may have never had these privileges.
We encourage and equip foster families for the challenges of foster care with support meetings and educational offerings the first Monday of each month at our Old Town Winchester location at 32 East Piccadilly Street. For a map, of the location, please visit our Contact Us page.
